PERIOD RESIDENCE
The villa, built between the 1800s and 1900s, is a true Art Nouveau gem. It stands on the hill of Civita overlooking the valley on which the town of Fabriano is built. The main façade of the villa is home to trouble-shooting sprites made by artist Duilio Cambellotti, to whom also belongs the design of the fountain that harmoniously enriches the garden.
The owner, Alice De Fonseca Pallottelli (Italian-English), was an ambassador of fascist ideology in both America and England, and for this reason the villa was frequented by Benito Mussolini himself.
